Monday 20^th September : Photography

• Downloaded photographs from moodle – taken last week of boiler parts
• Used photoshop to flip horizontal and vertical
  sharpen
• change opacity
• Use layers+ toggle layers on and off
• crop
• SaveAS.jpg joint  photographic experts groups
• ctrl+L shortcut for changing levels.
•  Set default workspace –standard palette locations
• Use history palette to undo processes
• actions-used navigator palette to zoom also use shortcut= ctrl++ or [Spacebar] shortcut for moving around the image.Afternoon
• Created a flickr account
• Uploaded designs  to flickr + sent to the group
• Downloaded from moodle
• Opened in photoshop
• Began editingTuesday  21^st September: 2d design
• Ink /heavy weight paper /graphite/sticks+brush’s/crayons/ Indian ink powder
• Ink blots
• Made  sketches of crayons + different ways of merging crayons in books
• Afternoon
• Used clay to make plant pots
• Used sculpting knifes and paddles to shape the clay
• Success – mine transformed into a basketThursday 23^rd September :  Essay  writing up

We went into the library and typed up our essay about the Liverpool tate museum we had to list 3 artists and 1 of each artists piece of work.
